As part of the implementation of design tasks for the planned Rożnów II Peak-Pump Power Plant, Energoprojekt-Warszawa SA organized a visit for representatives of the Investor (TAURON Group) to the Limberg II and Limberg III Peak-Pump Power Plants, located in Austria in the Salzburg region.
ESP Limberg II is a plant that has been in operation since 2011 and is equipped with two synchronous generators of 240 MW each.
ESP Limberg III is a power plant under construction that will operate two asynchronous generators of 240 MW each. The first of these generators will be ready for acceptance work in late March/early April this year.
Both facilities are owned by VERBUND AG.
