W dniach 5 – 7 czerwca 2013r. w Bełchatowie odbyła się XI Międzynarodowa Konferencja Naukowo-Techniczna „Elektrownie Cieplne, Eksploatacja – Modernizacje – Remonty”, poświęcona modernizacji i eksploatacji dużych bloków węglowych. Energoprojekt – Warszawa SA reprezentowali: Prezes Zarządu Andrzej Patrycy, który w sesji promocyjnej wygłosił referat prezentujący osiągnięcia oraz ofertę usług Spółki wraz z syntetyczną oceną polskiego sektora energetycznego (zarówno sytuacji obecnej, jak również w perspektywie najbliższych 10-15 lat, w tym – aspektów dotyczących rozwoju energetyki jądrowej w Polsce, wraz z prezentacją doświadczenia i możliwości Energoprojektu - Warszawa SA na tym polu) oraz Pan Adam Palmowski, który w sesji naukowo-technicznej wygłosił referat pn. „Doświadczenie doradcy technicznego inwestora w procesie uzgadniania wymagań technicznych dla fazy ofertowej i kontraktowej bloków dużej mocy na parametry nadkrytyczne, na węgiel brunatny i kamienny”, prezentujący powody (niezależne od zobowiązań naszego rządu w zakresie ochrony klimatu i środowiska naturalnego), wg których niezbędna jest budowa nowych mocy wytwórczych dla bezpiecznego funkcjonowania Krajowego Systemu Elektroenergetycznego.
